Davis Dance Marathon at the University of California, Davis added a special touch to their bake sale in order to connect it to the cause and what they’re fundraising for.
With a number of large philanthropic organizations on campus, UGA Miracle at the University of Georgia decided that, instead of competing with the other organizations, they could all work together to support their causes. This fall, they hosted their 3rd annual Philanthropy Phormal as a fundraising and awareness event benefitting five different philanthropic organizations on campus.
TitanTHON at California State University, Fullerton is working to “flush away childhood diseases” by allowing students to donate to have the toilet sent to a friend, requiring them to donate to have it taken away.
A number of Dance Marathon programs took advantage of school spirit during football season this fall. Dance Marathon at Louisiana State University sold gameday buttons for those looking to show off their Tiger pride.
During their fundraising challenge with the University of Alabama Dance Marathon the week before their big football game, DM at LSU also allowed students to paint an elephant (Alabama’s mascot) LSU purple for a donation.
University of South Carolina Dance Marathon challenged students to turn their rivalry game with Clemson into a fundraising opportunity.
14 different Dance Marathon programs in the state of Iowa took advantage of the collaborative Miracle Network Dance Marathon movement and joined together for a united fundraising push day for the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital.
